Damola and I pondered over a way and medium by which: all CDSS Alumni could get together; lost relationships (forged at command) rekindled; and new acquaintances made as we go along. The translation of our thoughts resulted in the creation of this Unofficial Website for our Alma Mater, Command Day Secondary School, Ikeja. |

We all have a part to play to accomplish the above tasks. Spread the word, send us your experiences at command, good and not so good moments, gist, jokes etc. |

| Prologue |

The idea of this long awaited website was conceived by Tayo and I in the first quarter of the year of our Lord, 1999. It is my hope that this site would act as a rendezvous, on-line, for anyone that has or had any link, whatsoever, with CDSS, Ikeja: alumni, ex-students, students, teachers, vice-principals, commandant and the community at large ..... to make it easier to re-establish the relationships that have been inhibited by distance and some other socio-economic factors. |
It is my fervent hope that this site will serve, ultimately, as a point of contact for my fellow alumni (register and reunite). |

We are uploading quite embarrassing photographs unto the photo gallery for your viewing pleasure (and a laugh too) and working on the gist page, among other works-in-progress, to bring back and reminisce about "those days". Please, feel free to send your brilliant ideas, photographs and contributions to the CDSS WEBMASTERS. |
